Mrs. Brothers is a graduate of the Cosmetology program at PHS. After passing her state board exam, she worked over 28 years in the industry at a variety of salon's including, Randy Ricks Hair Salon, Lords and Ladies, Thomas Woodards Salon, Hair Dynamics, and Lisa's. She started teaching at PHS in 2010. She enjoys sharing her wide range of experience to expand the student's view from the classroom to working in a real-world salon.

Since becoming a Cosmetology teacher, her interests in the industry have evolved to enjoy all aspects of Cosmetology including hair, nails, and skin. Her favorite part of teaching is watching the students grow in their skill development and determination to succeed. She enjoys observing her students' many talents evolve especially if they are in the program for three years.

Besides teaching, she loves taking long walks, hiking, bike riding, and swimming with her family and dog. Cooking and eating is also one of her favorite past times.
