2025-2026 School Year Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Registration is NOW OPEN!

2024-2025 School Year Registration is OPEN!  

Step 1:


Start the registration process by clicking the correct link below for the school year you are registering for. This link will take you to our online student registration portal.
You must create an account  in the portal in order to proceed with online registration. This should only take a moment and you will only need to do this one time. If you are registering multiple children, there will be an option to register additional children.


Once you create your personal account, please be sure to choose the correct school year when registering your child(ren).





Step 2:

You will be able to upload the documents listed below during the registration process. If further documents or information is needed, the registrar will contact you directly via email.

Listed below are the documents required for all students registering with the Pottstown School District:

  • Proof of Child’s Age: Any one of the following constitutes acceptable documentation.

    • birth certificate;

    • notarized copy of birth certificate;

    • baptismal certificate;

    • copy of the record of baptism – notarized or duly certified and showing the date of birth;

    • notarized statement from the parents or another relative indicating the date of birth;

    • valid passport; or

    • prior school record indicating the date of birth.

  • Up-to-date immunization records and the most recent physical and dental exams.

    • Children in ALL grades (K-12) need the following immunizations for attendance:

      • 4 doses of tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis (one dose on or after the student's 4th birthday)

      • 4 doses of polio(one dose on or after student's 4th birthday)

      • 2 doses of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)

      • 3 doses of hepatitis B

      • 2 doses of varicella (chicken pox)

    • Additional Requirements for Students Entering 7th Grade

      • 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Tdap)

      • 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV)

    • Additional Requirements for Students Entering 12th Grade

      • 2nd dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV)

      • MCV is to be given at 16 years or older to count as the 12th grade dose

    • A written Statement from the former school district or a medical office that the required immunizations have been administered, or that a required series is in progress.

OR

  • Verbal Assurances from the former school district or a medical office that the required immunizations have been completed, with records to follow. 

  • *Two Proofs of residency:  Any two of the following constitutes acceptable documentation.

    • current deed, mortgage statement, or lease; 

    • current utility bills, tax bills, cell phone bills, or credit card bills;

    • current bank statement;

    • vehicle registration, drivers license, or Dept. of Transportation identification card;

    • paystub; 

    • homeowners/rental/auto insurance, or

    • social security form or public assistance forms.

  • Custody orders and/or other legal documents if a foster parent (if applicable) 

  • IEP and/or 504 Plan, as well as your most recent evaluation or re-evaluation (if applicable) 

  • Student’s transcript or most recent report card to aid in scheduling the appropriate classes for your student (Grades 9 - 12) (if applicable)

There will be no in-person appointments. All registration will be completed electronically. *Certain family circumstances may warrant administrative approval for exceptions to the district requirement.  Please contact the Central Registrar for further information if needed.
