Introduction
In the near future you will be interested in purchasing your first car. You have been working part time and you have saved quite a bit of money along the way. The time has come and it is your chance to be in charge of an exciting and important task!
Use this WebQuest to research different vehicles: cars, trucks, SUV’s. You will determine the cost of buying this vehicle as well as the cost to maintain this vehicle. You will determine the cost of the vehicle, cost for fuel, and cost for insurance.
Big Idea:
Students will analyze proportional relationships and use them to solve real-world and mathematical problems.

Explain the difference between ratio and rate?
