Student Assistance Program

The SAP (Student Assistance Program) Team works with students, parents and teachers to identify issues, including alcohol, drugs and others, which pose a barrier to a student’s learning and school success.   Teachers, parents and students who observe problem behavior in a student are encouraged to reach out to a SAP team member and submit a referral.   All referrals are confidential and once one has been made, the SAP team will work together to gather information, consult with the parent and student and make recommendations for additional support.   The SAP team is not a treatment program nor does it diagnosis problems, although we may refer students to outside assessment and treatment programs.
