Welcome to the Home Page for Healthcare Tech I. This course is available to all sophomore junior, or senior student who is interested in a career in the healthcare field. In order to be accepted into this course students must pass all prerequisite courses according the the Healthcare Technoloy program of study. Level I is an introductory course into the field of healthcare. Students will obtain knowledge in the following areas:
-History of Healthcare
- Healthcare Careers
- Professionalism
- Human Needs
- Growth and Development
- Infection Control
- First Aid and Safety
- Medical Terminology
- Technology in Healthcare
Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to move on to Healthcare Technology Level II.
