Behavior System

DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Behavior System

DOJO

positive behavior
 Dear Families,

This year we will be using a web-based program called Class Dojo to help track   students’ behavior.   It is a communication tool to help keep parents updated about their child’s behavior.

In Class Dojo, students can earn points for positive behaviors such as being on task, participating, helping others, etc.  Students can also lose points for behaviors such as being off task, disruptive, etc. Students love being able to track their points.  At the end of the week, students will cash in their points for certain prizes or coupons.  I will then reset their points in order to have a fresh start the following week.  We will start this the first week of September.

Once you have joined our class you will be able to check your child’s progress anytime.  I will also send reminders for field trips, events, etc.  Download the free mobile app for iOS and Android, and you can view from any computer at www.classdojo.com.  You should have received a form asking for your email or cell phone number in order for the invite to be sent.
