The Marketing class at Pottstown High School hosted the grand launch of the Marketing Trojan Shop under the supervision of marketing teacher Mr. Ronald Davenport. Students worked to build a product list, by examining data from the previous year and conducting student-teacher questionnaires. The business underwent extensive renovations, during which the students made new decorations and signs to brighten the space. The opening was a big success thanks to many people who helped promote it. The marketing shop was created to give level 2 and 3 marketing students practical business management experience. The students will need to develop their ability to handle change, deliver excellent customer service, and understand the components of creating an excellent product mix for their target market.
