Many of us can remember being told when we were younger to make sure to wear a hat when going out in the cold weather. For Barth Elementary School first graders in Kathy Eagle's class that reminder became a lot easier to do thanks to kathy’s mother, Chris Rhoads. It is a long-standing tradition for Chris to crochet winter hats for the students in her daughter's class. Chris said there is a family atmosphere at Barth Elementary. The staff create a friendly atmosphere that encourages student success. I am happy to play a small role in supporting our school district, staff, students and family.
