Congratulations to the students representing the district at the 68th annual Inter-County Band concert that took place on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Perkiomen Valley Middle School West. The concert band included 100 select 7th-9th grade band students from: Pottstown, Pottsgrove, Owen J Roberts, Boyertown, Phoenixville, Perkiomen Valley, Upper Perkiomen, Spring Ford and Methacton. Representing Pottstown: Jayden Bell- Flute Brianna Bui- Flute Clara Johnson- Clarinet Aiden Ondik- Alto Saxophone William Rose- Trombone Thomas Rose- Tuba David Sanders- Percussion William Rose also performed with the Inter-County Jazz Band, an auditioned group where he was selected to play Trombone 2. The concert band flute section auditioned for seating placements and Jayden earned first chair while Brianna took second chair in a section of 14 flutes. Jayden performed solos in 4 pieces. Our district music department consistently prepares students to develop their skills to a high level and represent our community with pride and honor.
