PHS Grad lives Life of Service to Country and Community

Larry Lollar Pottstown High School class of 1972 has spent a lifetime of service to both his country and community. He attained the rank of lieutenant, while serving in the United States Navy, and then graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in meteorology. While in college, he participated in a number of intramural activities, which helped prepare him to coach a variety of teams at the high school level. Lollar has spent 32 years as a math teacher and coach, helping to provide a strong foundation for student success. He said I enjoy the classroom experience and hope to continue for many more years and I am looking forward to beginning to pursue a degree in computer science. The teachers and coaches at PHS, prepared me for my future by always encouraging me to do my best and be involved in activities. My words of advice to the students at PHS: be a lifetime learner and keep your eyes on the goal. Your teachers at PHS believe in you and our support, your future success.
