At Barth Elementary School students in Mrs. Kathy Eagle's class got a feel for and a taste of history as they helped celebrate Native American History Month by reading "Corn is Maize", which taught students how corn grows and how important it was to Native Americans. It was definitely a hands-on learning experience as students finger painted their own corn and sampled Comanche Fried Corn.
