Trojans earn honors , break records in track

Congratulations to Pottstown High School boys and girls track teams on an outstanding record breaking effort at the Perkiomen Valley Invitational track meet. 

Our student athletes ran, jumped and threw in competition with 18 schools from southeast PA. Trojan Proud of how they represented our district and community. 

Place winners for the boys were; Ethan Masewicz ,1st place in the 200 meters and 1st in the 400 meters with a time of 49.8, which ranks him in the top10 best times in the state, RaShean Bostic 1st in Long Jump 20’-6” which ranks in the state top 50. The 4x100m relay team of Chris Thomas, Tyrese Washington, Izaiyah Wilkerson, RaShean Bostic placed 4th. The 4x400m relay team of Tyrese Washington, Izaiyah Wilkerson, RaShean Bostic, Ethan Masewicz placed 3rd. The girls team saw personal best records set by sophomore Ashley Weller with a discus throw of 73 feet 7 inches, Nashiya Dowling a freshman 200 meters in 27.96, sophomore Mia Bolman 3:06.9 in the 800 meters, junior Lily Fetterman 400 meters in1.19.82 and Mikayla DeLuca a junior ran the 100 hurdles in 23.11. 

Medals won, records broken are all a result of hard work paying off which is a good lesson to learn early in life and will result in real life success. Another reason we say Proud to be from Pottstown.
