A week of firsts for Pottstown, student athletes, coaches, families, and friends. Our first ever flag football team celebrated their first senior parent night with an exciting first ever overtime victory. Yamiraha Sahad had a great night passing, coming up with a dramatic 4th and 15 winning toss to Kiara Jackson in the endzone for the overtime win.
The PHS Trojan baseball team recorded their first pioneer athletic conference victory in over six years with a 1- 0 victory over Norristown. To close out the week of firsts, the middle school baseball team scored their first victory of the year with a lot of heavy hitting in a 13 - 3 victory over Reading.
The week was a great example of "hard work pays off". Flag Football, Coach Scott Mader summed it up for all of our teams when he said what I love about our players is that they never quit.
