Welcome to the library! My name is Mr. Freese and I have been a teacher in the Pottstown School District for 30 years. I taught second grade, fifth grade, and now library. 
I have been a member of the Pottstown community for all of my life, graduating from PHS in 1985. I went on to get my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University. I later obtained my Masters of Library Science from Kutztown University.
My family and I live in Pottstown. My wife is a Kindergarten teacher and my daughter attends school in the district as well.
I became a librarian because I love books and love to acquire knowledge through research and reading. I want the students in my library to develop a love for reading and a never ending curiosity, one that compels them to be life-long learners.
