Kelly Leibold 10 & 12th grade School Counselor

I am originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania. I graduated from Abington Heights High School. I received a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I had two fun and exciting student teaching experiences. I first student taught in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania then in Dublin Ireland. Upon graduation, I taught Home Economics in Allentown Pennsylvania for two years. I moved on to teach Family & Consumer Science at Pottstown Middle School. I graduated with a Master of Science in Secondary Counseling from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. In 2019 I will begin my 20th year as at Pottstown School District. I have also earned a certificate in Restorative Practices from the International Institute of Restorative Practices. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, reading, traveling and hiking.

Bullying

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
