Welcome to my website. I have real world industry experience in chemistry and have been a teacher at Pottstown High School for 8 years. I graduated from Alvernia University with my initial degree in accounting, business and banking. Several years later I return to Alvernia to earn my degree in biochemistry. My teaching certification credits were earned at Alvernia, and I am currently working on my masters in education.
I love science and enjoy sharing the continual advancements in this field. It is a fluid field and I continually learn with my class. It is great to share new technology and advancements with the students. Students will be pushed to challenge themselves and give of their best efforts.
My husband, a Pottstown graduate, and I reside in the Douglassville area with our 17 year old daughter, our dog (Bandit) and our rabbit (Daisy Dan). Our son is in the US Air Force stationed in South Korea. I understand where teenagers are because I live it each and every day.
My hobbies include: quilting, volunteering for our church youth group, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
