Here you will find a list of supplies for a successful year:
(A lot of stores in the area are having excellent sales right now.)
- PENCILS!!!! Please, please, pretty please. I would suggest a box of 24 or 48 pencils to last the entire year. I've seen packs of 24 for a little more than a dollar. Dixon Ticonderoga are most teachers' favorite, but any kind will do.
- Erasers and pencil top erasers.
- Home-to-school Folder -- This should be a sturdy plastic folder to withstand travel in a backpack every night.
- Dry erase markers. Students will need 5 or more. Dark or bold colors are best.
- Highlighters. Any color, any kind. 2 or 3 is plenty.
- Glue sticks. A pack of two would be ideal.
- Pencil sharpener. This would be a great item to have when it just isn't an appropriate time to use the classroom electric sharpener.
- Pack of crayons OR colored pencils OR fine tip markers.
- A pencil pouch or box -- You will be traveling between classes and prepared! Any color or any kind is fine.
- A box of tissues. If every child brought one, we would have enough for the whole year! :)
I really appreciate any help that I can get in this way. It is costly for me to buy supplies for the entire class. Thank you. :)
