Welcome!

I'm Mrs. Lauren Crean, school psychologist at Rupert Elementary School. I am entering my third year in Pottstown School District. Prior to joining the Rupert family in 2013, I worked as a long term substitute at E.B. Barth Elementary School. It was there that I first fell in love with the students, teachers, and staff at Pottstown. I feel very fortunate to work with such a caring and devoted team!

I completed my undergraduate work at Lycoming College, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. During my senior year, I completed an internship at a program that provided outpatient substance abuse counseling services. I received a Masters of Counseling Psychology degree and a Pennsylvania School Psychology Certification from Immaculata University in 2011. My graduate school training included working with children with special needs at Elwyn, as well as a school psychology internship within the Perkiomen Valley School District.

My husband and I married two years ago, and we adopted our cat, Spirit, shortly after. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, going to the shore, and playing board games.
