Lincoln Students Give Mother Earth a Helping Hand

Students at Lincoln Elementary school spent time on Earth Day, giving mother earth a helping hand. They cleaned up the school grounds to help beautify the campus. Some students created bird feeder projects at home that they brought to school, and filled with seed for their feathered friends. Hoping to add some colorful plants to the landscape, students walked through the meadow in back of the school to spread wildflower seeds. In the classroom students learned some lessons about the importance of preserving the environment and protecting mother nature. Writing stories and coloring pictures about their love of nature were all part of the day.
