Pinning Down Honors on the Mat and in the Classroom

Congratulations to Pottstown High School, senior student athlete, Savannah Richards, who is pinning down, honors both on the mat and in the classroom. She was recently recognized by the Pennsylvania State Wrestling Coaches Association as a first team member of the State Girls All Academic Team. https://www.pwcaonline.com/all-academic In the classroom, Savannah carries a 4.0 grade point average, which includes participation in the dual enrollment program at Montgomery County Community College. After having successfully qualified through both district and regional tournaments, Savannah became the first Pottstown girl wrestler to compete in the state wrestling tournament where she placed seventh. Wrestling, not her only sport. She is also a standout member of the girls soccer and softball teams. She embodies the true meaning of a student athlete, who continually strives to do her best academically and athletically. A great example of making every second count, her hard work paid off.
