The German Report

Pottstown Middle School Band Director Katherine German reports on the Jazz Band. The 7/8 Jazz Band performed at the Emmaus Jazz Festival on Friday, April 12th. They received the second highest rating of "Outstanding". The saxophone section was rated the best section in our band and Levi Jaycox received recognition for his drum solo in "Watermelon Man." There is still lots of opportunities to hear them preform with 8 more performances this school year including the spring concert, Conrad Weiser Jazz Festival, High Note Festival, PSMA Craft/Vendor Fair and trips to all 4 elementary schools
