Students and staff at Rupert Elementary took on the wellness challenge and as you can see principal Mr. Matt Moyer is happy about reporting the results.
A big SHOUT OUT to our Wellness Champion, Kelsey Huktz, and the whole Wellness Team for their outstanding work on this year's Wellness Checklist Challenge! We were able to accumulate over 170 points thanks to the team's efforts with our staff and students!
AWESOME WORK!!!!
While we didn't win the overall challenge, we did an outstanding job supporting our school's many wellness areas!! We were awarded $1,000 which we can use to continue our wellness efforts next year!
A few highlights:
- We were in the TOP 5 of all participating schools.
- We had more points than any other school in Pottstown.
- We were the only school to hold Bike to School Day AND Walk To School Day.
