Members of the Rupert Elementary School k-kids club, which is supported by the Kiwanis club,used their artistic talents to raise funds for the school's Friends of Rupert support group. Over 50 students submitted entries in the school wide art contest.
Students voted by donating change for their favorite piece of artwork. The winners in the 1st-2nd grade group were Nathaniel Walton, Caleb Teketey and Jasmin Corum. 3rd and 4th grade winners included Ronan White. Ceandra Butcher Santiago and Imari Soto. Principal Matt Moyer said, I am proud of our students who used their talents to help support our school.
The $40 will go to help support school activities for students.
