PHS Football Team Honors Fallen Trojan

The coaches and players of the 2021 Pottstown High School Football team are honoring Mr. James " Butch" Leveille, former player and Trojan Football Head Coach. A special decal bearing his name will be worn on the players helmets.

The coaches and players of the 2021 Pottstown High School Football team are honoring Mr. James " Butch" Leveille, former player and Trojan Football Head Coach. A special decal bearing his name will be worn on the players helmets.

James was married to his loving wife Judith K. (Rosendale) Leveille for 59 years. In addition to his wife he is also survived by 2 children, daughter Lauren and son James G. Jr.

He truly enjoyed coaching the Trojans football teams at Pottstown Central Jr High and the high school. In 1982 he coached the Trojans to win the Ches-Mont Championship. He was also inducted into the Tri-County Sports Hall Of Fame.

Jeff Delaney, the present Trojan coach, said coach Liveille is a part of the 124 years of Trojan football history at PHS. His enthusiasm, character and integrity help make a difference in many lives. Once a Trojan a Trojan Forever.We are proud to honor his memory.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Pottstown Education Foundation, C/O Football program, 230 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
