Rupert Elementary School Principal Matthew Moyer’s opportunity to be chosen as the best principal in the country to the things that the COVID-19 pandemic has messed up. In May of 2020, Moyer was named Pennsylvania’s Principal of the Year by the Pennsylvania Principal’s Association. In a normal year, he would have then attended the national conference of the National Association of Elementary Principals at which, in the past, one has been chosen from each state’s nominee.
