Do you often wonder...what can I cook for my family that is affordable, healthy, and something they will actually eat? Well...The Family Advisory Committee (FAC) is joining with Penn State Extension Nutrition Education to offer cooking classes that focus on how to prepare delicious, healthy meals on a tight budget. Each week will feature a new recipe and a new topic. The first part of the class will consist of making the recipe, and the second part will feature a lesson on topics such as food safety, portion sizes, food labels, etc. Participants are invited and encouraged to cook along with the instructor from the comfort of their own kitchen.
