This weekend they used their skills and strength to help clear the way for a highly successful community event. The Pottstown NAACP hosted a voter registration and resource day held at Smith Plaza. Student athletes were led by Head Football Coach Jeff Delaney providing support in setting up the area. In addition to distributing over 8,000 pounds of food the event included voter registration, free legal aid, housing information, flu shots, census reporting, mental health support and entertainment. Trojan Proud of our student athletes and coaches building citizenship and displaying civic responsibility. Special thanks to YWCA Tri-County Area, Montgomery County Public Defenders, Hopeworx, Giordano Garden Groceries, and Philabundance.
