Congratulations to rookie cross country runner Darius Smallwood and rookie head coach Stephanie Konnick on Darius's second place finish at the District I Championships. More proof that hard work pays off. As a first year runner Darius had a lot to learn about training and the strategy of running a 3.1 mile race. Coach Konnick provided the guidance and encouragement to help him realize his potential and now they are off to compete in the state championship race.
