This year the Pottstown High School program ( pending final approval by the school board ) will be led by Mr. Mike Hewitt.
Mike becomes the 10th head coach in the 59 year history of the Trojan wrestling team. He is no stranger to Pottstown wrestling having been a high school wrestler and football player for the Trojans in his student days. Coach Hewitt has been a valuable member of the PHS coaching staff as an assistant for the past 4 years. During the day he is the instructor of the highly successful Pottstown High School Auto Technology Department. Mike is a familiar face to students, staff and families. He hopes to build a strong partnership with student athletes and find more ways for families to be involved in the program.
Coach is a strong believer in the practice of hard work pays off by making every second count and working toward self-improvement one day at a time.
