Superintendent Update - Summer Update #4

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are pleased to announce a successful rollover of our previous grading and attendance system to a new one with more features, which will make it much easier for you to support and find information about your students' progress in school. We will be switching from the Home Access Center (HAC) to the Parent Portal for PowerSchool. Here’s a link that you can visit to start familiarizing yourself with what you can expect from the Public Portal:

We will be conducting a parent training, sharing videos, and how-to-information soon. We will help with directions to download an easy to use app on your phone. There are several more updates and steps that the school district must complete before we roll it out to students and parents but we look forward to providing better service with the upcoming new school year!

You will use this system for very important functions related to your child's required paperwork:

  • Update of address & phone number
  • Completion of required medical documentation
  • Chromebook use guidelines and requirements

Lastly, we are transitioning to SchoolMessenger for notifications and attendance management. We are in the process of creating how-to videos that will be shared once completed.
