The twelve member team of the Pottstown High School Indoor Color Guard under the direction of Guard Instructor Julio Chisholm proudly represented PHS at the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network guard competition at Upper Moreland High School. Thirty school districts were present.
The Trojans competed in a division with nine other schools. In the category of equipment (spinning of flags, rifles, and sabres) the guard placed 5th. In the category of movement (dance and drill), the group placed 6th.
Overall they achieved 64.7 points out of 100. It was a highly successful first outing for the color guard and has set the group up for a very successful rest of their season which will culminate with the MAIN Championships - RWJBarnabas Health Arena, Toms River, NJ - April 22nd.
