PHS Students Pass The Test

Congratulations to Pottstown High School students Mark Ellison III, Abdelrhman Elgendy, Natalie Shope and Keishla Gonzalez-Galarza, who represented our district in the Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest.

Students speak for 5-7 minutes on a topic of their choice. They must apply the Rotary 4-way test to the topic. 1. Is it the truth? 2. Is it fair to all concerned? 3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned? They delivered incredible speeches on the topics of Passion, War, Objectification of Women and Hope. Their speeches were insightful, well prepared and thought provoking.

Abdelrhman Elgendy was selected by the judges to represent Pottstown at the Southeast Regional event held next month. Special thanks to their advisor, PHS teacher Ms.Diane Brothers, for her guidance and motivation.
