Rupert Principal Moyer Receives National Award

October is recognized as National Principals Month.Building principals set the academic tone for their schools and it is their vision, dedication and determination that helps mobilize staff,students and families to achieve student success.

Rupert Elementary principal Mr. Matt Moyer is an example of the outstanding principals in the Pottstown School District. Recently Mr. Moyer was honored by the National Association Of Elementary School Principals with its Distinguished Principal Award. The award was presented at the annual national conference,where he received a framed certificate and an engraved school bell. During the conference he also did double duty as a presenter.

His topic, Using Social Media to Promote Your School, is one that he has demonstrated great skill in as he shares the story of his school. Mr. Moyer said, I am proud of the work we do at Rupert and our entire district. Our district building administrators are committed to our mission; Prepare each student by name for success at every level.
