Pottstown, boys and girls wrestling teams represented our district and community at several holiday tournaments. They competed with honor, pride and good sportsmanship. Competition in tournaments challenges student athletes to give maximum effort and show resilience to overcome adversity. Our high school girls competed at the Governor Mifflin Tournament with over 300 wrestlers. Placing were Leyna Johnson 7th and Malayasia Williams 8th. Middle school girls had an outstanding tournament with a number of place winners including, Niya Crowder 1st, Lexi Oswald and Justice Ford 2nd Mariah Laboy Amelia Diehl, Aloria Leal and Lily Beach 3rd.
The boys high school team traveled to Marple Newtown for a very competitive tournament, placing for the Trojans were Mohammed Selmi 4th, Nana Kobina miller 5th,Arek Javage,Luke Grice, Jaydon Robinson,Jaxen Nihart and Nate Diehl all 6th.
