Trojan, proud of our PHS Girls Wrestling team, who took time from their practice and vacation schedules to pay a visit to Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. They helped wrap and deliver presents to young patients. It was a team effort to provide some joy and bring smiles to the children who have to spend their Christmas in a hospital room.
Coach Kala-Kadima said, I’m very proud of our young lady student athletes, who are learning the value of community engagement and helping others. It is another real life lesson that will stay with them the rest of their lives and more reason to say, proud to be from Pottstown.
