PHS grad engineering his way to success

Pottstown High School grad, Aaron Laws, class of 2023 is well on the road to a successful future, presently attending  Montgomery County Community College majoring in mechanical engineering he is gaining valuable experience as an intern at Pottstown Dana Corporation. Recently he assisted in guiding a class of middle school students who are part of the MONCO 360 program which provides advanced STEM education opportunities for students.

Aaron told the class he chose engineering because of his general interest in science and technology and that he loves seeing his ideas come to life. He hopes that his interest in problem-solving will lead him to stable career opportunities.

Reflecting on his high school days, he said, Pottstown School District prepared me with the educational, social and emotional  foundation needed for success at the next level. Thanks to the high school engineering program I gained valuable hands-on knowledge. The program equipped me with the skills that I use day-to-day at my internship such as how to use precision measurement tools, how to use power tools and hand tools, how to use CAD software, and most importantly how to use critical thinking to create solutions to problems .

Trojan proud of Aaron Laws. Glad to see his hard work paying off. Thanks for giving us another reason to say, proud to be from Pottstown.

Please help share the good news. Hope you have a great day.
