The Pottstown DECA chapter showcased its talent at the state competition held from February 19th to 21st in Hershey, PA. Competing against approximately 3,300 students from across Pennsylvania, the chapter displayed their skills across various business-related categories. The competition included tests, role-plays, and presentations, providing participants with valuable networking opportunities with business professionals, universities, and fellow students.

This year, Pottstown will proudly send Natalie Shope and Yousef Mahmoud to the national competition in Orlando, Florida, where they will present their nationally gold-certified, school-based enterprise to a panel of judges. Additionally, the Pottstown chapter received recognition for its community involvement through its Plan of Action report, highlighting their volunteer efforts throughout the school year, including fundraising initiatives for the Boys and Girls Club of America.
Individual achievements were also celebrated, with Cheynia Boyer earning the title of top role-play scorer in the chapter, Lucy Zuniga recognized as the top test scorer, and Gabriella Horne awarded for having the best model.
