Congratulations to members of the Pottstown High School Trojan wrestling team who are proving that hard work pays off on the mat and in the classroom.
Nine members of the team earned academic honor at the end of the second marking period. Earing Distinguished Honors were, Jared Hewitt, Jestyn Snyder, Matt Deppen, Zoe Earle,Julianna Figueroa,Diego Jamie and Kennedy Cole ( team student support person ) Named to Honors were Devon Green and Mason Miller.
Coach Nick Wade said, wrestling provides the foundation to develop self discipline and goal setting. I am proud of our student athletes who are putting our team philosophy of hard work pays off when you make every second count to work on both the mat and in the classroom. Trojan wrestling has a long history of wrestlers who have succeeded both athletically and academically.
Today's team members are putting together the building blocks that will lead to success in their adult lives.
