PHS Celebrates Homecoming

Congratulations to the 2020 PHS Homecoming Court; Julianna Figueroa,Zoe Earle,Haley Haas,Carson Hewitt,Kaelyn Draucker and Heaven Charriez and their escorts Kishan Patel, Jahzeel,Darius Smallwood,Christian Albert,Vincenzo DeLeo and Dylan Murphy. Returning to crown the Queen and King were 2019 Homecoming King and Queen John Stilwell and Emme Wolfel. Trojan Proud of the 2020 Homecoming King and Queen, Christian Albert and Carson Hewitt. 

Meet the Pottstown High School 2020 Homecoming Court;

Heaven Charriez  - She played soccer for three years, and was the high school basketball team manager also for three years. Heaven is also a Level 3 Early Childhood Education student. After high school, Heaven plans to attend Howard University where she will major in Education. 

Heaven is escorted by Christian Albert  - He is class president, runs track and cross country, is on the basketball team and is also a member of DECA. Christian plans to attend Gwynedd Mercy after graduation where he will major in business and continue running in track and cross country. 

Kaelyn Draucker. She is a member of National Honor Society and the captain of the varsity cheerleading squad. Kaelyn’s future career goal is to become a pediatric dental hygienist. She has been accepted to East Stroudsburg University and hopes to attend Harcum College.

Kaelyn was escorted by Vincenzo DeLeo! He is a member of the National Honor Society and the treasurer for the Class of 2021. Upon graduation, Vincenzo plans to pursue a career in business and entrepreneurship. 

Zoe Earle  - Throughout high school, Zoe has been active in soccer, wrestling, track and field and is a member of National Honor Society. She plans to attend college, she’s undecided about her major, but she’s considering animal science, criminology, or journalism. Zoe states that her main goal is to “live a joyful and successful life.” 

Zoe was escorted by Dylan Murphy. He is an involved in numerous activities at Pottstown High School including: Baseball, soccer,, DECA, National Honor Society, and band where he plays the snare drum. Dylan’s future goals include attending college to study Sports Management, while playing baseball. 

Julianna Figueroa  - She is a member of National Honor Society, as well as being a member of the soccer, track, and wrestling teams. Julianna has also participated in school musicals throughout her high school career, one highlight being playing Little Inez in Hairspray. Julianna’s future plans include going to college to study communications and studying abroad. 

Julianna's escort was Kishan Patel  - Kishan is the drum major for the marching band, a member of the jazz and concert bands, and a part of the saxophone ensemble. He is the Student Government president, Interact Club President, NHS President, Tennis Team Captain, and DECA Director of Competition. Kishan is also a senior Student Board Representative for the Pottstown School Board and an Ambassador of the 4th Congressional Student Task Force. In what time remains, Kishan participates in HOSA and Robotics Kishan’s future plans include attending a 4 year university where he will major in biomedical engineering specializing in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Haley Haas - Haley has been playing softball for 12 years and is a member of student government. She has also been a member of the fundraising and event planning committee for Minithon. Haley has been accepted to Albright, Alvernia, and Millersville University with more acceptance letters still coming in. She plans to attend a 4-year university, majoring in sociology. One day she will start her own business.

Haley was escorted by Darius Smallwood -  He is a member of the National Honor Society, and plays on the basketball team. He is also a member of the track team. This year Darius placed second at the district cross country competition earning a berth at the PIAA State Championships in Hershey PA where he placed 41st. Darius’ future plans include attending a 4 year college where he will continue his running career as he determines his future career goals. 

Carson Hewitt and Jahzeel Watson Carson plays soccer and is vice president of the Class of 2021 She plans to attend college to study psychology or education and has been accepted to Widener University. Jahzeel plays football, basketball, and is a member of the track and field team. He plans to attend college to study civil engineering with a minor in photography/videography. While he is unsure of where he will attend college, he has received offers to play football at Alvernia, Albright, and Ursinus.
