Reading Can Be Messy Business

Principal Mrs.CaleistaBoyer challenged the students of Lincoln to read 1,000 books by the end of the first marking period. Sixty-three students participated and together they read 1,900 books-nearly doubling the goal!!! The STAR Readers were rewarded with the opportunity to SLIME the principal at a full school assembly. It was a well deserved and messy celebration!!! Great job, STAR readers!!! Thanks to Mrs. Boyer for finding a fun way to encourage student readers.
