I grew up in Pottstown, graduating from Pottstown Senior High in 1980. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading from Lock Haven University. I then continued my education earning a Master's Degree in Education from Temple University. In 2001 in also received K-12 Principal Certification from Alvernia College.
I've been teaching in Pottstown for 30 years. I began my career in Pottstown as a Reading teacher and have also taught second, third, and fourth grades before returning as an Intervention Specialist.
I have been married for 25 years. I have two children, Emily age 21 and Eric age 17. I am also the proud parent of tabby cat Oliver and rescue beagle Bailey.
I love teaching reading and working with the best teachers and students anywhere.
