Who Are You Going To Call?

Who are you going to call when you need donations of lifesaving blood during the cold Winter months? Pottstown High School students and staff,that's who.When it is the middle of the Winter and it is cold outside donations to blood banks goes down,but the need is still high.
Everyday blood is needed to help save lives. Recently PHS students and staff added 29 units of blood to bring the school year total to 110 units which goes directly to the Pottstown Hospital. Health Occupations teacher Michaela Johnson noted, So far this school year we have collected 110 units.

It is excellent that we were able to help out as there is a shortage of blood right now. 
 
This is also a busy time in the school year, for students and staff with just having keystones exams, finals exams, change of semester, and Winter illness going around.
 
I am proud that we were able to pull together and give back to the community. We have already started to plan for our Spring collection event.
