Hello, my name is Mrs. Emerick and I am the Reading Intervention Specialist at Rupert Elementary School.  I have been teaching in the Pottstown School District since 2003.  Prior to becoming a reading teacher, I was a special education teacher in Pottsown.  I enjoy teaching students how to read and love watching their success througout the years.  Most of all, I love seeing the students' smiles everyday!

When I am not in school, I am busy with my family at home.  My children are in 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade this year.  I also have a Greater Swiss Mountian dog named Flyer.   I enjoy reading, baking, exercising, and watching my children play sports,
