My childhood was spent in Northeastern New Jersey until my family moved to the Poconos, where I attended high school. I completed my student teaching experience in Reading School District, teaching 3rd grade. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Graduated with Distinction from Penn State Berks in 2008. I graduated from Cabrini University in May 2016 with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Reading Specialist Certification. I am proud to announce that I maintained a 4.0 GPA while working full time as a first grade teacher. I love learning just as much as my students!
As far as my personal interests, I love music, yoga, soccer (Spanish National Team & FC Barcelona), football (Go, GIANTS!), and cooking. I truly appreciate learning new things and have taught myself how to hula hoop as an adult. I also enjoy the outdoors and the ocean. Two of my favorite places to visit are Maine, where I vacation every year with my family, and Spain, where my grandfather grew up.
